Welcome to Human Subjects Review at South Seattle ����������ӰԺ

We encourage and support research practices involving students, faculty and/or staff of South Seattle ����������ӰԺ. Any of the research performed with our students or employees must first receive permission through the Human Subjects Review Process. This process ensures the protection of student and employee information and minimizes any potential harm.

Please complete the Human Subjects Review form below and submit to Greg.Dempsey@seattlecolleges.edu before you begin any research with our students or employees.  Our Human Subjects Review Committee will review materials submitted.

All research conducted at South Seattle ����������ӰԺ must comply with the  (‘Common Rule’), South Seattle ����������ӰԺ and the Seattle ����������ӰԺ District’s , and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act () guidelines.

*If your research involves "minimal harm/risk", please contact Greg.Dempsey@seattlecolleges.edu to determine if the full HSR must be completed.
